Don't feel discouraged. Sometimes, shift booking managers may have to decline your application to a shift because:

  • they chose another practitioner who applied for the same shift and who they believe is better suited for the needs of the shift

  • their shift needs have changed, so they have cancelled the shift

  • they require a more specialised practitioner with particular skills and/or experience for that particular shift. Although uPaged practitioners are not limited to working within their usual specialty and may apply outside their specialty, sometimes booking managers require specialised practitioners for the shift.
