After completing five shifts (i.e. you have received five ratings), your average star rating is calculated as the average of the five ratings. It is an overall score out of five. For example, if you have completed five shifts, and your ratings are 3 out of 5, 4 out of 5, 4.5 out of 5, 5 out of 5 and 4 out of 5, your average star rating is 4.1 out of 5 stars.

As you complete more shifts and receive more star ratings, your average star rating will continue to be adjusted accordingly. This means one score can outweigh another. For example, if your average star rating is 4.1 out of 5 stars after five shifts, and for the sixth shift, you receive a rating of 2 out of 5, this will bring your average star rating down to 3.75 out of 5 stars. However, if you receive a rating of 5 out of 5 for the seventh shift, your average score will now be 3.92 out of 5 stars.
